Native American music, green energy, organic gardening part of Thank the Lake Day

Have you seen Lake Pocotopaug in East Hampton? It’s extremely clear and people are talking about it.
On Saturday, July 24, the third annual Thank the Lake Day will be held at Sears Park in East Hampton (lower pavilion).
The event is open to everyone.
Come show the lake a little love. This is an event to bring the community together for a greater good – the water of the planet. In light of the current water situation on our planet, the more the better.
It is a simple gesture and does not take long to do.
Joseph FireCrow will join us again this year and honor a Cheyenne tradition of playing music to the water with handmade flutes. In doing so, we are able to send our positive thoughts across the surface of the lake and beyond.
Your thoughts affect water. It is scientifically proven. Positive thoughts have positive effects and negative thoughts have negative effects. Let us positively affect 15 acres of water that we have access to.
This year, bring your electric bill and sign up for Green electricity.
There will also be information on organic gardening products available locally, as well as about water conservation and more.
How big is the water shed area? Come and find out.
There will be flower petals to offer the water, or bring your own special flowers from your yard.
Thank the Lake is from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. There is a $5 fee to enter Sears Park, but all activities at this event are free.
Thank the Lake is sponsored by Positively Clean (www.positivelyclean.com )

“In every glass of water you drink, some of the water has already passed through fishes, trees, bacteria, worms in the soil, and many other organisms including people… Living systems cleanse water and make it fit for, among other things, human consumption.” -Elliot A. Norse
