Nathan Hale-Ray Middle School students Caley Millen, Samantha Pollock, Jimmy Iarusso, Sabrina Brainard, Sarah Rose Sanders and Christian Connors have been selected to create the fundraising sign and logo design for East Haddam’s new Heritage Park.

Heritage Park will be developed on a 15-acre parcel that will be filled with handicapped-accessible walking trails, heritage-themed gardens, picnic tables, benches and a huge pavilion and gazebo on the land surrounding the current East Haddam Senior Center.

The next planning meeting for Heritage Park will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27 at the East Haddam Senior Center
