The Masci Family wishes to thank all those in the East Haddam community and surrounding communities, the volunteers who searched, the volunteers who supported the searchers, police, fire, EMTs and all the others for their efforts this past week to find Robert Masci.
Masci’s remains were found by a K-9 unit in a heavily wooded area off Deer Run Road on Saturday, Oct 22. He had been missing since Tuesday when he failed to return home after an afternoon walk.
The family spoke briefly to volunteers at the Nathan Hale Ray High School and at the Fire Station following the discovery of Robert Masci.
Ruth and Michael Masci, Robert’s son and daughter-in-law, expressed the family’s deep gratitude for all the efforts made to find their father. They said they were truly thankful to all.
Anyone who wishes to send the Mascis condolences or share their thoughts are invited to leave a comment below.
