Candidate for 34th District State Rep Goff opens campaign office

Chris Goff , the Democratic candidate for state representative for the 34th District (East Hampton, East Haddam and a portion of Colchester), invites you to the opening of his campaign headquarters.

Goff will face Republican candidate Melissa Ziobron of East Haddam in the November 2012 elections.

The campaign kickoff event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 100 Main St. (the Corner of Main and Skinner) in East Hampton, CT.

“I look forward to running a grassroots campaign that focuses on meeting and listening to the residents of our communities,” Goff said. “I have already gone door-to-door to many homes and have let people know they can count on me as their next state representative to work tirelessly for them up at the State Capitol.”

Goff urged all residents to come down to the campaign kickoff event .“Even if you just want to stop in for some refreshments and to say ‘Hello’ … I am really excited to meet as many of my neighbors as possible,” he said.

Hot dogs and beverages will be served at the campaign kickoff.

Chris Goff, an experienced public servant, has been a member of the East Hampton Town Council and East Hampton Board of Education.

He authored East Hampton’s Code of Conduct and was instrumental in establishing the regional Chatham Health District.
