The Annual Double Auction is now underway.
Friends of the East Haddam Free Public Library host this event each year to raise funds to buy new books and to support your favorite programs at the library.
This event began Oct. 5 and will continue through Thursday, Nov. 15.
You have the opportunity to win cool stuff in two auctions:
- Be the highest bidder in the Silent Auction (100 gallons of heating oil from Maus & Son or Goodspeed tickets) or
- Buy tickets in the Chance Auction for a chance to win in drawings for gift certificates, a quilt, jewelry, pet products and many others prizes.
All of the items in the auction were donated by local businesses and patrons like you.
To enter, come to the East Haddam Free Public Library at at 18 Plains Road in the Moodus section of East Haddam on Monday and Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between noon and 6 p.m., or Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
To bid in the Chance Auction, buy tickets for $1 each (or six for $5), choose your item(s) and place the ticket(s) in the corresponding cup.
And if you buy more than $10 in tickets, you will receive discount coupons to La Vita Gustosa (while supplies last).
